I moved a couple weeks ago, and it just so happened that the day selected (and, unfortunately, it was unchangeable) was a. the coldest day so far of the season, b. the wind was blowing out of the NW at around 25-30 kts and c. it also decided to snow. The downside that's important here is that my computer didn't take the temp changes very well and lost the OS. I was able to repair it, but temporarily lost my second partition on the hard drive (my XP disc is the original before LDA - Large Disk Access support was added.) Fortunately, updated to SP 1a was able to take care of that.
But, it does seem like my computer OS is on it's way out the door, down the drain and laying down for the final nap. I've pretty much got everything I really need backed up (finally), but I think that if I do this, it will be the last time for this particular computer. It's about 5 years old and I think ready to retire (especially after what I've put it through over the years.
Anyway, that's one of the myriad reasons I've not posted anything in a while.
However, I would like to take the time to wish all my watchers and visitors a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
