I'm currently playing the new MMO, The Secret World, and this is my view of my current character. She's a member of the Templars and is proficient in Blades and Pistols.

I used one of Sabreyn's girls for this one. But, I'll be damned if I can recall which one. I believe it was her new one, Noelle, but please don't quote me on that. The background is a scene from the game itself, specifically outside the Templar gaff in London. It's a place that you can't miss...Really, it's unmissable. :) (Bonus points if you can figure out the joke. :) )

I just bought this. What server you on? I'm planning to make a Templar too. I saw Illuminati have Gunslingers, but Illuminati are icky and ebil. XP

I'm not currently playing, but when I do, my character is on the Arcadia dimension. And Lumies aren't evil...Just misguided. :)

Is The Secret World free to play after you buy it or is there a monthly fee? I'd like to play it but I don't think I could get away with a monthly fee LOL :D

Subscription. The launch has actually been pretty smooth. No major problems, no crashes, a few bugs here and there, but nothing out of the ordinary that you wouldn't see in another MMO's launch.

The cool part about it is that it's all on one main server. You create your character on a dimension, but the only things the dimension controls is that it's your home dimension and when you do one of the PVP fields (Fusang)...other than that, if I, on Arcadia, want to group with someone from Cerberus, no problem. Hit meet up and you transfer to that dimension and hang out. When you're done, the next time you zone, you're back in your home dimension. Even Cabals (Guilds) are pan-dimensional (though, they're single faction only at the moment).

Hopefully somewhere down the road I can give it a try. It seemed like it could be a fun game.

Saw a bit about that one, and it looked interesting. I just got back into eq2 tho and damned if I wanna go anywhere else right now LoL Great pic! Thought the back was a photo til you said it was a screenie ;)

After reading something today, a good description would be to mix a bit of Lovecraft, a bit of Gaiman, a bit of King and a bit of Whedon and that's the story of the game. And thanks for the kind word. :)
