A High Elf Ranger and Cleric in service to the ancient Elven homeland, set out to combat the threat from the Bloodhowler tribes in the area of the Wardship of the Sleeping Moon.

Again with a game-inspired image, this one is from Vanguard. A couple months ago, for the second anniversary, SOE ran a contest for VG titled "It Takes Two". Basically the image had to be Vanguard related and involve two characters, either PC or NPC. At the time, I was still playing and hung out with :iconrainfeatherpearl:. We spent a bit of time in the Celestine Ward AKA Wardship of the Sleeping Moon, and I decided to come up with an image for the contest reflecting that. This was the result.

The ladies (my ranger and her cleric, left to right, as if you couldn't already tell) are both V4's. For the ranger, I literally reused the V4 from the character portrait and signature I did. For the cleric, I used what Rainfeather has stated is one of her favorite morphs for V4, and dressed her in the Svana armor. That's where the 3D ends, as the background is an in-game screenshot of the north wall of the Wardship.

I have yet to learn the exact status of this image in the contest, but I do know that it has won one of the places (1, 2 or 3). And if it should, by some twist of fate, win first place, aside from the 90-day game card and an in-game title, there will also be an in-game portrait done to commemorate the image (I can only surmise that it will be a lower-res version of this image). If that does indeed occur, then these two will be forever a part of the Vanguard world. :)

I miss Telon...actually, I doubt I'd ever feel "at home" with any other MMOs out there. I hope you win the contest hun. Would be great to see Dy and Nam immortalized in game :nod:

I love this pic. Especially using the screen shot. I might have to start taking a better look around me when I am in Telon instead of just killing all the evil mobs around me :)

My issues with the game aside (the reason I no longer play), there is no denying that the world of Telon is absolutely one of the more beautiful MMO worlds in existence. I had to use a screen shot because with my current skill, there is absolutely no way in hell I could have come up with anything better. :D
